Hey guys!
Today I went to this ministry training and it was AMAZING! And they talked about a bunch of different concepts and ideas that i've been contemplating and praying about for a good amount of time that i think, as well as some others, is something that Science Hill really needs at this momement because we are seriously lacking God.

We talked about reaching out to our peers and seeing them come to God. First Priority is going to sponsor and help us out but this will be a STUDENT LED ministry team.

"Thank you for the opportunity to play a small role in what God is going to do through you and your friends. We have a VISION that every student in your school should have the opportunity to say "YES" to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ at school.

We belive sharing the gospel at school is important! FISH isn't the only way to do that, but it is a simple startegy and plan to help you communicate the gospel at your school. We hope that you find FISH to be an effecticvce tool to revolutionize the lives pf those around you. Read this maual(FISH give me a shout if you'd like to read it) find a group of Christian students who are committed to creating outreach environments during non-curriculum times at school and form your FISH club. If you already have a student-led Christin club at your school you can inplement the FISH strategy in those club meetings without changing the name of your club. These clubs will meet once each week for 20-30 minutes.

In Luke 5, after an awesome miracle Jesus told Simon Peter,"Don't afraid Peter! Walk with me and you will catch people. " Peter did, and what he experienced changed his life, the lives of thousands in his day and millions since. Imagine Jesus saying o you...don't be freak out, there's nothing to be afraid of. Walk wiht me..and you WILL catch people. It will change your, life,the lives of thousands and millions.

This maunal(again just give me a shout and i'd be happy to let you read it) detail a simple cycle [F.I.S.H] that your club will repeat every four weeks. FISH will help you apply what you learn in church,pray for your friends,encourage other Christians and influence your friends' lives toward a personal relationship with God."-First Priority


FISH is made up of five teams.
1.A Prayer team(In charge of Focus Week)
-Prayer team is pretty self-explaniatory
2.Bless Team (In charge if inspiratioin Week)
-Blessing someone is simply using a verbal or written expression of your appreciation for someone else. When you bless someone you let them know that they mean something to you and that you genuinely.
3.Serve Team(In charge of share week)
-The serve team strives the Christ like attitude of humilit by serving the First Priority club itself. The serve team focuses on "in reach" by meeting the need of the students within the club, and reaches out to students on campus both by finding opportunities to sereve othes and by promoting club meetings and special events.
4.Tell Team(In charge of hook week)
-Tell team plans ways to share Christ on campus. Members of this team emphasize and encourage sharing Christ with schoolmates,help to train students in ways to share their faith and go with other studens who ask for help in sharing Christ with a friend.
5.Captins Team(in charge of planning fishing cycle
-Captins will plan the who,what ,when, wher, and how of the club meeting. This team is made up of captins and co-captins from the ministy teams will meet with the Campus Coach(guide) at least once a month to plan the club meetings. It is this team's responsibility to communicate to First Priority all things that are happening in the school.

FISH is NOT in competition with Young Life or FCA we are all working towards the same thing. We need all the help we can get. We seriously need to get God back into our schools. Please pass on this information. We are shooting for the first meeting to be Wednesday October 4 at 3. These meetings usualy run for 30 mins
