Below is a story from a local high school student turned in on our
scholorship application.
"My sophomore year of high school First Priority invited my temporary youth
pastor to speak at a club meeting during school. Upon hearing this I
immediately wanted my best friend since kindergarten to come and listen to a
man I have the utmost respect for. And finally I was able to convince him to
come with me. Although he grew up in church all his life, he had never taken
serving the Lord seriously. Throughout the meeting I noticed my friend being
jittery and uneasy. Before every service our teacher and leaders pass out a
form that ask if a person made a decision for Christ to each studente and
then take them up at the end of the service. The next day my teacher
withdrew me out fo clas and told me that my best friend had rededicated his
life to Christ during our meeting. Since then our friendship has become
stronger because of our foundation in Christ. We have the ability to
understand a dn talk each through any tuype of situation/struggle by using
eh talking, reading the Word, and prayer. None of this would be possible fi
it was not for First Priority and it's dedication to winning souls for
Christ in our schools." Nicholas Poston
